Artists & Educators
Beverly Mangham
Bevely has been creating assemblage-collage style works since about 1992.
“I am influenced daily by all that surrounds me, inspiration springs from the daily life I live in the rural Texas hill country with my husband and fellow artist, Billy Ray Mangham, and a family of wonderful animals.”
Reinventing Urban Objects
Using traditional art materials and urban trash, students will make novel combinations to form works of art. Use found objects to emphasize pattern, shape, line, color, and space! Conceptual ideas, poems, lyrics and stories become visual. Class will include tips on joining various materials, basic tool usage and engineering, as well as information of the use of adhesives. Projects are ideal for all levels of technical ability.
