Guidelines for Summer Reading '07

We invite you to embark on a summer of reading fun. Follow these simple steps to a nautical neverland of aquatic adventure:

1. Visit an Austin Public Library location to register. You will receive a Reading Record
2. Decide how many books you plan to read this summer and write the number on your record (If you're not reading yet, have your grown-up make a plan and read to you - that counts, too!)
3. Start reading.
4. For each book you read, write down the title and tell us what you think. If you run out of room, come on back and pick up another reading record.
5. Once you've finished your plan, bring this reading record to the Austin Public Library, and we'll let you choose a book to keep. You're welcome to complete as many reading records as you want to, but one book-to-keep per reader, please.
6. Keep your reading record as a reminder of your summer reading success. Bon Voyage!
